Passing the UL RSC burglary tests with the highest scores, the Stealth HS8 is made with a 12 gauge solid steel door and body. Add in the 2-way 7 solid steel, 1.25" thick locking bolts combined with razor thin door gaps and you have yourself an extremely secure, pry-resistant UL Approved Home Safe. With the Stealth UL home safes you get real security, tested and rated by an independent agency, Underwriters Laboratories.

The Stealth HS8 home safe includes the UL Approved NL UR-2020 High Security Electronic Lock standard. This lock is the most reliable lock in the safe industry and is assembled and tested in the USA. The lock is also protected by a hard plate and internal re-locker that will keep the bolts locked if a thief were to attempt a punch or drill attack. The S&G Mechanical lock and NL Redundant Lock are also available lock options.

In addition to the top notch security, the Stealth HS8 Home and Office Safe comes with a 1 hour fire rating at 1200°. This ensures your valuables stay safe and cool inside with the interior temperature never passing 350 degrees F. Stealth also adds an intumescent door seal that expands to multiple times it's size during a fire to prevent smoke from entering the safe keeping your contents safe and secure inside.

The Stealth HS8 comes standard with a door panel organizer on the back of the door with two zippered pockets that allow for additional storage space of your small valuables. Conveniently store your passport, some cash and other small valuables in the pockets on the back of the door.

The Stealth HS8 Home and Office Safe also includes an electrical outlet kit with 3 outlets and 2 USB slots so that you can charge your electronics inside the safe.

The interior of this home safe comes with two carpeted shelves with attractive leather lining. These shelves are adjustable or removable to best fit your needs.

These safes are styled with a chrome L shaped drop down turn handle and a textured black finish. Four bolt down holes and mounting hardware is included to secure the safe to the floor.

Stealth believes in and stands behind the UL Home and Office Safe Line by offering a 2 year warranty on all components of the safe and a lifetime warranty against house fire, attempted break-in and actual break-in.

STEP 1: Installing a Battery
Use a brand new Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt Battery expiring at least 5 years in the future.
WHY THIS BATTERYBecause this battery has the highest amperage output that is needed to operate the safe lock and open the door of the safe.
- The battery compartment is located on the bottom side of the keypad
- Simply slide open the compartment door and pull out the battery connector
- Hook up a Duracell Coppertop 9-Volt battery to the battery connector with the and - lined up
- Push the connected battery back up into the compartment & slide the door shut
STEP 2: Changing the Default Code to your own Personal 6-Digit Code

NOTE:The following instructions are for changing the combination for the first time from the set default combination (1-2-3-4-5-6).Before you start this process make sure you know the 6-digit code you will set your safe to so the lock doesn't time out while you are setting your code.
- Enter default code to unlock the safe: 1-2-3-4-5-6
- Open the door and extend the bolts
- Press and HOLD [0] on keypad until double beep. (LED light will remain on during next steps)
- Enter DEFAULT code: 1-2-3-4-5-6 [double beep]
- Enter NEW personalized 6-digit code [double beep]
- Re-Enter NEW personalized 6-digit code [double beep]
- Your new code has been successfully set
IMPORTANT: Make sure you test your new code several times with the door open before closing the safe to ensure your new code was set properly.

Replacing an Existing 6-Digit User Code:
- Enter existing 6-digit user code to unlock the safe
- Open the door and extend the bolts
- Press and HOLD [0] on keypad until double beep. (LED light will remain on during next steps)
- Enter existing 6-digit user code
- Enter NEW 6-digit user code [double beep]
- Re-Enter NEW 6-digit user code [double beep]
- Your new code has been successfully set
IMPORTANT: Test new code several times before closing the door

TROUBLESHOOTING
- LOW BATTERY: A series of beeps indicate that the battery is weak and must be replaced.
- LOCKOUT MODE: If the wrong code is entered 4 times in a row, the lock will go into lockout mode - where it will constantly beep and flash for 5 minutes. Simply wait 5 minutes until the beeping/flashing stop and try again.NOTE: Removing the battery will only pause this 5 minute timer. The battery must be connect the whole 5 minutes.
