This Seiko LX Limited Edition SNR049J1 (SBDB041) is inspired by the gradient Color of the Stratosphere at the outer layer of the Earth. The stratosphere’s change in colour from black to blue is expressed in the graded dial and the two-tone colour bezel, just like you are surfing at the edge of the atmosphere in space. The stunning finish of the watch shows various expressions that differ depending on the angle of light and is reminiscent of the beauty of the earth illuminated by the sun.


The design of this SNR 49J1 is based on the historic Seiko1968 Diver’s watch, the first diver’s watch that had 300m water resistance and a high-beat movement proudly produced by Seiko. The LX line inherits the original case design of the 1968 Hi-beat Diver’s.

The case back is marked with the letters "LIMITED EDITION" and a serial number between 001/400 and 400/400 as a solid proof of limited quantity.
