This thoughtful kit includes:

• Loom
• Weaving comb for tight, even yarns
• Blunt tapestry needle
• Card of colorful thread that is made in the Asobi Ito style, which is made by winding 5 types of thread, ~ 39" (1m) of each color.
• Approximately 8 grams of thread per card. No two cards are exactly the same.
• Instructions to learn the basics that are written in English and Japanese, and have step-by-step detailed diagrams to follow.

The loom and comb are made from 51% scallop shells. The tapestry needle is made of paper board. Both are compostable.
