These have a light sensor so they self-activate in the dark. The quartz crystal has been shaped and polished.
The total height including the base is about 2.6" (67mm). The crystal alone is about 1.4" tall x 1.3" long x 0.7" wide (35mm tall x 33mm long x 18mm wide) at the bottom -excluding the prongs of the plug.
