Adreno's Reel with line is compatible for use with Adreno spearguns and a variety of other brands. The reel comes ready with an adaptor for guns where the clip does not fit to the gun. The bearings of our signature Reel are high quality and made to last even in the corrosive saltwater conditions targeting pelagic fish. The reel is also capable of holding 65 m of line as opposed to the standard 55 m.

The braking system boasts a stainless steel braking disc washer on the bronze brush, which ultimately means you get a reliable drag that shouldn't shift under strain. The perfect way to lose a gun is through a failing reel drag when it unexpectantly tightens or loosens.

Installing a speargun reel means you don't have to chase a fish in the same way you might have to should you use a standard setup. Even with a floatline attached, you may not have enough line to work with and you could find yourself being dragged through the water when you've got a larger fish on your shaft. With a reel, you have more time to let the fish wear out and can eventually reel it in. You're also able to adjust your reel drag to suit the conditions and the fish you're targeting.

You also have the option of detaching yourself from a dive float, although we'd still recommend using one so you're visible to your dive buddies and boats, and of course to make sure your kit doesn't get dragged into the abyss. And in the case where you're not diving with (or near) a boat, where are you keeping your fish? Hopefully not on your dive belt, for obvious reasons.
